Thought we could all share some of our favourite horsey books. Smile

Principles of riding (German federation one)

Horse control series (Tom Roberts)

Horses are made to be horses (Franz Maringer (sp?))

Ooh yes! I agree with all of the books above!

Plus what else...

The John Chatterton book, is it called 10 commandments?

The Jeffrey Method book.

Andrew McLean's books.

It would probably help if I knew the titles! chuckle

Ooh I live a good horse book. I cant remeber who it was that said it but I live by this quote" Ride by your seat during the day and your mind at night"
My favorites are Dressage Formula
101 Dressage exercises
Riding through Debbie McDonald
Basic Training of the Young Horse
Just too many to mention Very Happy

Cool. I've been meaning to check out that 101 Dressage Exercises one. Do you use the exercises very often?

It is great to bring some variety into your training and is divided into exercises for things like looseness lateral work building suspension etc. I have only recently bought it but I love it.
Basic training is fantastic I just wish I had it when I got merlin back from the breakers.....
I have lent mine to a friend who has a just broken Contango11 filly and I dont think Im going to get it back in a hurry!!
